Woodland Coppicing Crafts Weekend

Coppicing is an ancient woodland management technique that has provided humans with a regular harvest of small diameter wood which is easily handled and readily worked using simple tools.

Your tutor Mike Ingram has many years of countryside management experience and in particular the management and utilisation of coppice woodland.

These weekends will have a practical focus on learning how to manage and utilise coppice woodland and Mike will impart his accumulated knowledge of all things coppice.

This course is particularly relevant to those:

1. Interested in coppicing to broaden their skills in woodland management.

2. Who own/manage woodland and an aim to create productive coppice.
